About us
Christ exalted church was established in April,2007 by Bishop Eric and Lady Pastor Emma Obrenyah. The church’s first meeting place was at the Corn Market Hall in Kettering. They later moved to the Ise-lodge community Centre and finally relocated to the Melton community Centre where they met for about two years.
In 2013, they received a divine mandate from the Lord to move the ministry from Kettering to Wellingborough, where the ministry shifted to another dimension with the demonstration of God’s power in various ways in the area of Deliverance, Prophetic and the manifestation of God’s Glory. The ministry relocated to Wellingborough and started meeting at the Irchester Village hall in 2013.
In 2018, the lord opened the door for the ministry to move to our current permanent meeting place located on top of the NatWest Bank right in the middle of the Wellingborough Town Centre.
Statement of beliefs
We believe there is one God eternally existed in three different personalities; the God the father, God the son and God the holy spirit. We believe in the deity of our lord Jesus Christ, his virgin birth and his bodily resurrection.
We believe the bible to be the inspired and infallible word of God. We believe in salvation by grace through faith in the lord Jesus Christ. We believe in water baptism by immersion and also in the Lord’s supper and communion as an ordinance given to the church.
We believe in the baptism of the holy ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as a subsequent gift in salvation. We believe in the provision of the bodily healing in the atoning work of Jesus Christ our saviour. We also believe in the prophetic and the deliverance ministry as we believe Christ came to set the captives free.
