Set free from Premature death (Testimony by Sister Grace)

Hello, I wanted to share my testimony of what God has done for me when I was sick. This year in May, I ended up in A&E because of bad stomach pain. The doctors did tests and scans to try and find out what was causing the pain but they could not find the reason. In the meantime I was on Morphine but the pain was not going away. In the meantime my wife was praying with Bishop, pastor Emma and our friend Caroline also helped with prayer. I believe it was only through prayer that the doctors could finally see what was causing my pain and they told me I had hernia, swollen appendix and my kidney was not functioning properly. This was all sudden because I didn’t have these issues before. I had to have emergency surgery and it went well because of all the prayers. Even after the surgery Bishop and brother Fred came and prayed for me again at home, that day after prayer I felt my pain go away. The support we got was refreshing and surprising because we have never seen it before from a church. They were checking on us every day with phone calls, praying for us and even bringing us food. Thank you so much Christ Exalted may God truly bless you for your prayers and kindness. We thank God and for bringing us to Christ Exalted church. I thank God for being a live today.

As we continue to put the name of God on high. I also want to encourage a brethren who is on the cross roads or who is contemplating to leave God. He is so much alive and have your interest at heart.
2020 June my Son fell I’ll and God used his servant for his healing. He had high temperature for 5 days and was not going down regardless of antibiotics he was prescribed. In those 5 days Bishop had instruct me to call him every night to pray for my Son bed time. In the 5th day I just voluntarily take him to A&E to be seen by professional as all were telephone appointments. I told Bishop that we wont be calling that day as we will be late coming home from hospital. My Son walked into hospital at 9pm KGH. Nurse did all the checks and DR came and checked him. They took all their samples and put my Son on drip as well as antibiotics.

By 23.00 Dr came to me and broke the news that things were not looking good on their results. And he instructed me that they are starting to look for a paediatric hospital. I was confused at this moment. I ask more questions and was told they do not have specific machines in their lab to pick what was wrong but they suspect Kawasaki. At this time I inform Bishop and he started interceding for us. The condition started to change so rapid and his blood pressure started to drop very low. 4 am an ambulance came from Leicester children’s hospital to take him there. But the strange thing when they finish transferring the child in their stretcher the ambulance driver came and check all the reading and told the DR that he was not taking the child anywhere because we would not get to Leicester he will he dead and he walked away.

I text the Bishop and they intensify the prayers. They manage to get his blood pressure just about to travel to Leicester. My son was blue lighted there. In the way the Ambulance went completely off the road and by God’s grace the driver manage to gain control. When we get there my Son was rushed in intensive care. The situation was helpless. The plan was to sedate him but I pleaded with them not to. I was then told that all his vital organs were failing. ALL HIS VITAL ORGANS. at this moment Bishop was still checking on me every 15 to 30mins and pleading with God on our behalf. After 1 hr of all the tests again the results started to show positive improvement. On the third day in intensive care he manage to talk and ask to call Pastor. He spoke to Bishop and Lady Emma on the phone. The next request was McDonald’s and the Dr prescribed it.

The 5th day he came out of intensive care to the ward and I realised that my Son was not walking. I called Lady Emma and I said Mama my Son is not walking I have to be here for 14days of Physio she said hold his legs she prayed for him and the next day he started walking and the 4thday he came home. Bishop and Mama were not sleeping full nights as they were checking up on us constantly and praying. The love they showed I thought I did not deserve it since I was a very new member they did not know anything about me. They did not look at that they stood with me from start to end. Bishop and Mama may God reward you bountifully. Not forgetting Osofo Fred he played a big role the whole time I was in hospital with information of medication to take and to refuse as they was a trial going on at the time. I am humbled with the Love and all the leaders who were helping with prayers. GOD BLESS YOU
